Tentoumushi

JARED: These are tentoumushi (ladybugs). They are a kind called nanahoshitentoumsuhi. Everyone likes them because they kill bad bugs and they are cute. But there's one thing I don't like about them--sometimes they pee on your hands. I hate that! I rate them 4 insect legs out of 6.EVERETT: Tentoumushi are mecha kawaii (very cute). They look a little bit like kame (turtles), except they're red. I like them!

In New Zealand, they call ladybugs, "ladybirds". It's strange having to learn words I thought I already knew how to say or spell.
